We are Open

Financial services are considered essential in California. Our office is open and our staff are available and ready to assist clients with any questions or concerns they might have.

Estate Planning During the Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us how unpredictable life could be and reinforced the importance of estate planning. Whether you want to build a new estate plan from scratch or plan to tweak an existing strategy to fit your current situation, our attorneys can help.

If you already have an estate plan and know how estate planning works, we will explain what has changed in the last year and how changing dynamics can affect your estate. We will review your estate plan and help you take steps to shield your assets and stay financially protected from risks.

If you are new to estate planning, we will take you through the estate planning process. Our attorneys will help you identify risks and opportunities. We will help put an effective estate plan designed to protect your assets, minimize taxes and avoid probate in place.

If you are in the midst of the probate process, our team will help you figure out what to do next and how to continue in the midst of the crisis.

Court Proceedings May be Delayed

A bill unanimously approved by the California legislature permits courts in California to continue hosting remote hearings.

Cases are moving slowly in courts. Many California courts are getting overwhelmed by backlogs that were created due to the closure of some services during the lockdown. If probate is underway, the process may take longer than normal.

We’ll continue to support you during this crisis. We offer remote consultations and can represent you and present your case during remote hearings.

We are Taking all the Necessary Precautions

Client safety is our number one priority. We are complying with all state and federal guidelines. Clients meet attorneys in sanitized rooms. During meetings, we follow masking and social distancing norms.
